I found this quote while browsing today and thought it spoke well to some of the reasons we’d like to have this adventure:

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered “Man…. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

I met the Dalai Lama once and he said, “Oh, uh, there won’t be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.” So I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.

you guys need to move along with the adventure! Hopefully we’ll see you in pacific standard time soon!
